Customer Guarantee

All customers will benefit from a full guarantee on our workmanship for a 2 year period on all work that we carry out, whether that’s changing a tap to a full building project or refurbishment.

Sadly today we do find that manufactures are becoming more sloppy in their quality control, and of the few times we are asked to take a look at a problem our customers have, the issue often lies not in poor workmanship, but in the items supplied being faulty. PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING; In this circumstance we are happy to provide a replacement service for any faulty item within 2 years of installation, however this is chargeable to the customer, who may be able to claw back the extra costs involved in re-fitting items from the manufacturer.

Professional Bodies

We belong to the Federation of Master Builders | Corgi | Guild of Master Craftsmen | all of our electrical work is certified by NIC EIC. Our gas and boiler works are carried out by a Gas safe registered engineer. All registration numbers are available on request.

   

 

Contingency

This allowance is for your peace of mind, should your work run into contingency costs then you will be informed beforehand so that you can see exactly where the extra costs have been incurred, and also decide whether you wish to carry out any works covered by this figure.

 

Insurance

We are insured for £2m public & employee liability including qualified tradesmen cover. Also bona fide sub-contractors have their own public liability insurance which is always current at the start of every new tax year @ 5th April

 

Total Costs 

Please check the estimate carefully as we carry out a supply only and supply and fit service, Make sure you are clear what exactly you are paying for, and what you are expecting to pay for within your estimate costs.

 

Fixtures & Fittings

These must be agreed prior to any work commencing.

 

Start Dates

Are proposed dates which you will have discussed with us, they are not fixed unless you have paid a deposit to secure specific dates. A deposit can be anything up to 1 year in advance for clients who are requesting specific work slots for their annual holidays, etc.

 

Deposits

We require a 30% deposit cleared funds on projects up to £15’000. any project over that figure requires a 10% deposit.

The purpose of taking a holding deposit from our clients is to ensure that we hold specific dates which we have agreed to. This also allows us to order supplies and arrange delivery of goods. All deposits must be paid a minimum 60 days prior to installation. We work on a three – four month waiting list for most clients. This system we have is not open for discussion as sadly from past experience some individuals have been known to have a change of heart or circumstances which is understandable, however we have also turned away works which could have been completed during these specific time slots.  Please remember start dates are flexible by a few days either way. We will always be looking after the client where we are working at the time, and this should give you peace of mind that when we arrive to take care of your project, you will receive the same treatment.

 

Refuse & Waste

We do not clear any refuse or waste material from site. A licensed waste removal contractor can be organised to carry out this work on your behalf, this is charged as extra works.

 

Extra Works

Any works not specified on the estimate are chargeable extras, please carefully check the estimate to ensure everything is covered that you are expecting to have completed. if there is anything you need to clarify please contact us.
