Victoria Plaza - Gills Independant Eye Care

This project was really exciting for us, we hadn't been involved in commercial work for some years as the paperwork had become a burden for anything commercial, and the dreary finish of commercial buildings didn't thrill.

Sam Gill asked me to work withnher in designing a real modern optical showroom, and allowed the project to develop and evolve as the work progressed. Some unusual touches are the curved wall to house the optimap machine, and the curved customer seating area.

The green colour was inspired by Julie Sasse, an excellent co ordinator of colours and design, a client we had already worked for in Benfleet.
