Dean Dalton and his excellent team at DCS Builders have come to our rescue again by completing an urgent job to repair a leak in our roof and replace old and distressed flat roofing over a small front extension, which would have become a major issue if it hadn't been identified as a problem at the time. Their use of drone technology and sharing the results with us meant that the cause of the leak problem on the roof was identified quickly and they were able to advise us and agree on the best course of action to take which was carried out with efficiency and care. We have used DCS services for many years now and have never been disappointed or concerned over the quality of work carried out. We would confidently recommend their skills and expertise to anyone considering any necessary major or even minor building works to their homes.
DCS was recommended to me to complete a full bungalow renovation. Dean helped me from advising me on cost and work that needed to be undertaken before purchase to starting the work the day after receiving the keys. His team have worked tirelessly to get a full renovation completed including full rewiring, plumbing, new kitchen & Bathroom, change of layout, windows, doors and flooring to name just a few jobs that needed doing. All work was completed within a few weeks and I was able to move into my brand new bungalow without any of the old dated features. Dean project managed the whole renovation leaving me with little to worry about and organise, but also whilst keeping me fully involved in choices and progress. I would fully recommend DCS and I have already booked them in to start on the outside of the bungalow next year! Thanks for all your hard work.
Our first contact with Dean was when he started work over the road from our house and politely knocked and asked us to let him know if there were any issues with parking whilst they were working there and left his contact details. We had been trying with little success to find a builder to help us with a roofing issue at my mothers house. I looked on the website and was so impressed by with the testimonials that I contacted him through his online form. He replied very promptly and when I explained the issue he was extremely helpful with advice as to what options would be possible. He visited my mothers house who has recently been widowed and was so sensitive to her situation and she really appreciated his warm demeanour. The work was carried out to a very high standard, and all of the team were lovely. They were very tidy and did a great job. I would not hesitate to recommend Dean and his company to anybody. It was a pleasure to deal with them.
It can be a minefield out there when employing the services of trades. DCS were recommended to us by a neighbour and having spoken to Dean at length about what we were looking to do we felt very reassured. DCS completed works on our downstairs toilet converting it into a new utility room which included knocking down a wall, plumbing works, plastering, tiling the floor, electrics and decorating (all managed exceptionally well). An excellent standard of work was carried out by the team and we were very happy with the end result. Dean and Harry are attentive, approachable, have high standards and clearly want to make sure that you are entirely satisfied with the works carried out. Given our satisfaction, we proceeded with DCS to carry out the conversion of our old downstairs utility room into a new shower room which is currently in progress.

Dean and his team recently completed an extension to the side of our bungalow. During the process various issues were discovered, which required immediate attention and increased the timeframe of the build. Dean was extremely helpful, considerate, supportive and well organised. We were kept informed on everything that was happening. On the extension build Dean listened to all of our ideas and was really helpful with ideas and suggestions always with attention to detail. The whole team were so courteous, always on time and worked extremely hard to complete the job so we could move back home. We are so pleased and happy to have had Dean and team work on our home. Dean is professional and has a vast wealth of knowledge and experience to offer. Dean had our best interests at all time's and is extremely passionate about his job as are the team. We now have a safe, sound home due their expertise and knowhow. We also have an extension which has vastly improved the living space. The extension consists of an amazing wet room, utility room and the remaining space turned into a lovely kitchen/diner, bringing us closer to the outside garden. We contacted Dean at DCS Services who came round and gave us some really good ideas, so we went ahead and had a false wall installed to the ceiling which covered our old fireplace and an arch either side which now has shelving inside with a pair of doors on either side in addition to this we also had a bio-ethanol fire fitted in the centre and above that a sound bar and tv. The end result is quite remarkable and has been built and finished to a high standard. Dean and his team have done a really marvellous job with all rubbish cleared away, many thanks to all of you!
Dean’s team have done an excellent job of painting our downstairs rooms and landing in our new house. Much better than anything we could have done ourselves! Dean was very helpful and knowledgable, giving useful advice from start to finish. His team were friendly, efficient, tidy and they did a great job . There were a couple of unforeseen problems with the property (a leak and a damp issue) which were dealt with quickly and professionally. Thanks very much!!
Dean came round for a site visit initially to look and quote for the job. Was impressed so booked him in. Once all items had arrived I let him know and his team came round to install this week. Very good job and now have a nice tidy looking awning and heater installation covering the patio.

Having recently suffered with a mains water supply leak at my property, Dean and his team have been amazing. From the initial stages of recommending the best way forwards to the later ones finding the best solutions Dean has listened and advised throughout. His professionalism is second to none and I was kept fully informed throughout the work as to what would be happening when. DCS provided an outstanding service from the moment of quoting to finishing the job. Dean offered advice and suggestions to make our garage conversion work better for us. I am very pleased with the work done. I was told what time the workman would be starting and he arrived in time and worked hard all the time he was here. I was told how the work would be done and in what order and was offered an information sheet on the chemicals used to treat the wood worm in the floorboards. When the work was finished all the rubbish was bagged up and taken away. I will be very happy to use them again and have passed on the number to a couple of other people.
