We had various building works undertaken which included bricklaying, plastering, electrics, plumbing, roofing, insulation and rendering. Dean was able to advise the best course of action for each of the jobs done. We are extremely satisfied with all the works completed and would certainly recommend them. The builders are all very friendly and approachable and tidy up after themselves and the end result looks fantastic.
Having had Dean and his team convert my garage, back in 2014, I had no hesitation in contacting them again when I knew I wanted some more work done. My only reservation was that perhaps the job was too small. However, I need not have worried. Dean was happy to take the work on – replacing an internal window with a sheet of obscure glass and removing a glazed external door, bricking up the bottom and installing a window with fanlight. As before, attention to detail was paramount and I am delighted with the end result. It was a pleasure having the team here again and, as before, it felt like saying goodbye to old friends when the job was complete! So, a big thank you to Dean, Harry, Rob and Dave, not forgetting Darren who cleared away all the rubbish! I would certainly have no hesitation in once again availing myself of their expertise in the future and would wholeheartedly recommend DCS Services!

Dean, as usual, was very organised and arranged for Rob to replace the extractor fan in our shower room which was no easy feat, but he did an absolutely splendid job.

Reliable and professional tradesman are like gold dust and so when in August 2021 we decided to combine a garage conversion with replacing our kitchen and bathroom I knew I had filed the DCS Builders invoice from 2006 for future reference. We were very pleased to find that Dean had gone from strength to strength in the intervening years and from his first visit he provided expert advice and helpful proposals for our project. As well as developing our ideas to get the most from what space we had, Dean programmed the work to ensure that we had a new shower room before replacing our bathroom and constructed a temporary kitchen from the existing units for us to use whilst creating our new kitchen. Temporary gazebo’s were erected front and back to minimise joinery and plumbing fabrication in the house and every effort was made to minimise the dramatic effects of cut and carve works inside the house. Dean is a perfectionist and experience has lead him to provide top quality fixtures and fittings resulting in many pleasant surprises that tempted us to rename No 5 “High End House”. Dean, Dave, Harry, Rob and Martin are a great skill mix team and happy crew to have in your house and their aim is solutions and not problems. We are delighted with the end result and would highly recommend DCS Builders to all.
Dean and his team did an incredible job with our bathroom fit in our new home. We recently have taken on a large renovation job and we needed to remove our old bathroom and move it to a much larger spare room. This was a large job that required a lot of work but Dean and his team did a really great job to give us our dream bathroom for our home. The team were professional, punctual, polite, hardworking and delivered an amazing large bathroom for us which we are very happy with. Along the way Dean communicated efficiently and professionally and offered great advice every step of the way giving us really great guidance on what would look best as well as function best in our new bathroom. All in all, we are really happy with the result and would certainly be happy to use Dean and his team for any further work needed on our home and I would happily recommend them to anyone looking to enhance their homes.

Dean Dalton and his excellent team at DCS Builders have come to our rescue again by completing an urgent job to repair a leak in our roof and replace old and distressed flat roofing over a small front extension, which would have become a major issue if it hadn't been identified as a problem at the time. Their use of drone technology and sharing the results with us meant that the cause of the leak problem on the roof was identified quickly and they were able to advise us and agree on the best course of action to take which was carried out with efficiency and care. We have used DCS services for many years now and have never been disappointed or concerned over the quality of work carried out. We would confidently recommend their skills and expertise to anyone considering any necessary major or even minor building works to their homes.
DCS was recommended to me to complete a full bungalow renovation. Dean helped me from advising me on cost and work that needed to be undertaken before purchase to starting the work the day after receiving the keys. His team have worked tirelessly to get a full renovation completed including full rewiring, plumbing, new kitchen & Bathroom, change of layout, windows, doors and flooring to name just a few jobs that needed doing. All work was completed within a few weeks and I was able to move into my brand new bungalow without any of the old dated features. Dean project managed the whole renovation leaving me with little to worry about and organise, but also whilst keeping me fully involved in choices and progress. Our first contact with Dean was when he started work over the road from our house and politely knocked and asked us to let him know if there were any issues with parking whilst they were working there and left his contact details. We had been trying with little success to find a builder to help us with a roofing issue at my mothers house. I looked on the website and was so impressed by with the testimonials that I contacted him through his online form. He replied very promptly and when I explained the issue he was extremely helpful with advice as to what options would be possible. He visited my mothers house who has recently been widowed and was so sensitive to her situation and she really appreciated his warm demeanour. The work was carried out to a very high standard, and all of the team were lovely. They were very tidy and did a great job. I would not hesitate to recommend Dean and his company to anybody. It was a pleasure to deal with them.
It can be a minefield out there when employing the services of trades. DCS were recommended to us by a neighbour and having spoken to Dean at length about what we were looking to do we felt very reassured. DCS completed works on our downstairs toilet converting it into a new utility room which included knocking down a wall, plumbing works, plastering, tiling the floor, electrics and decorating (all managed exceptionally well). An excellent standard of work was carried out by the team and we were very happy with the end result. Dean and Harry are attentive, approachable, have high standards and clearly want to make sure that you are entirely satisfied with the works carried out. Given our satisfaction, we proceeded with DCS to carry out the conversion of our old downstairs utility room into a new shower room which is currently in progress.

Dean and his team recently completed an extension to the side of our bungalow. During the process various issues were discovered, which required immediate attention and increased the timeframe of the build. Dean was extremely helpful, considerate, supportive and well organised. We were kept informed on everything that was happening. On the extension build Dean listened to all of our ideas and was really helpful with ideas and suggestions always with attention to detail. The whole team were so courteous, always on time and worked extremely hard to complete the job so we could move back home. We are so pleased and happy to have had Dean and team work on our home. We contacted Dean at DCS Services who came round and gave us some really good ideas, so we went ahead and had a false wall installed to the ceiling which covered our old fireplace and an arch either side which now has shelving inside with a pair of doors on either side in addition to this we also had a bio-ethanol fire fitted in the centre and above that a sound bar and tv. The end result is quite remarkable and has been built and finished to a high standard. Dean and his team have done a really marvellous job with all rubbish cleared away, many thanks to all of you!
